Alex Asifo a.k.a. Al Maralen is a rapper, comedian, writer, and producer from Maryland. His work ranges from NPR, The Late Show, Sway in the Morning, and WAMU.

Alex is also a member of the DMV-based band, 10issues. The ten-person band combines Jazz, Hip-hop, and Contemporary R&B to create their unique sound.

Fortunately, we had the opportunity to capture Alex in his element during a 10issues concert. Watch the video below to get a glimpse of his stage presence.

Currently located in New York City, Alex strives to balance life as a musician and stand-up comedian while simultaneously making a name for himself within his respective industries.
